MARCH 2005
Welcome to March! This was a busy month, I spent most of my time training for my upcoming events and working on this website.
This guy(Anthony Hansen) has amazing hearts!
My Cancer Guide Group!

March was a busy month.  I felt like it was over before it started.  First I celebrated March 8th, International Woman’s Day in the city with my mom(Mary) and friend Cheryl Brandon at an inspirational lunch supporting the first ever International Women’s Museum that will open in San Francisco in the next couple of years. Lori Bonn is on the board and invited all of us to this great day. It was memorable!

Most of the month I concentrated on training for the Cinderella Century (100 miles) bike race and the Napa Triathalon that I will be participating in. I also attended a week long intensive seminar in Berkeley called the Cancer Guides program.  This program is original in combining the eastern medicine and western medicine as a treatment approach for cancer patients and survivors. March 22nd was a great day! I was anxious due to my 9:45 tri monthly MRI to monitor the brain tumor and since mom was out of town, Barry came with me. All went well as my scans have remained stable for one full year!  This is sweet music to my ears.  But just as this is the month of new beginnings and spring, I was delighted that my girlfriend in Santa Cruz gave birth to a baby boy, Nash Cruz.  Spring has sprung and the cycle of life continues!!
